EBLL softball team wins Section 8

East Barstow took the Section 8 title with a 13-0 win on Friday at Mojave Vista Park in Victorville to advance to the Division III tournament, which is the highest level the team can reach. In two games, East Barstow outscored Bloomington 29-1.
“I don’t even know how to describe the feeling,” manager Cisco Montano said.
Chavira pitched a complete game with three strikeouts.
“Lauren’s a great pitcher,” Montano said. “I can’t say enough about her.”
Sinfora Sedillo went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, Alicia Vasquez was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Esperanza Gallegos went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
