BHS Football: McPheron selected to All-CIF team

Serrano and Silverado each had five players on the all-CIF Southern Section Northwest Division football teams, which was released on Monday.

Dionza Bradford (RB), Hector Sotelo (OL), Everett Beed (DL), Gary Brunt (DL) and Chris Kilmer (LB) made the team from the Mojave River League champion Diamondbacks, who finished runner-up in the Northwest Division playoffs.
Fred Rosser (WR), Jemeryn Jenkins (utility), Jewele Howard (DB), James Lynn (DL), Jeremy Henry (LB) were named from the Hawks, who won the Desert Sky League title.

Apple Valley had three players — Daryon Mosley (RB), Jesse Messer (OL) and Tui Manu (LB) — on the team. Barstow’s Jonathan McPheron (OL), Victor Valley’s Jordan Calhoun (WR), Granite Hills’ Bryce Quigley (TE), Burroughs’ Derrick Dison (QB), and Rim of the World’s Dillon Pretzinger and Dalton Dennis also made the team.
Oak Hills junior running back Jeremiah Armstead was named to the all-CIF Southern Section East Valley Division team.
