Former Olympian Oscar Pistorius received five years in prison today for the 2013 shooting death of his girlfriend. The South African Pistorius, a double-amputee sprinter, was previously found guilty of culpable homicide, a charge similar to manslaughter. He shot his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in what he said was a case of mistaken identity.
