Where were the town hall protests back then?

I see in the news media all those angry crowds protesting President Obama’s health care reform and they show a lot of anger.

Where are all these town hall meetings protesting the Iraq war and the tens of billions of dollars we spent per month for a war that is illegal and worse yet, 4,327 Americans are dead and 31,458 wounded for nothing because there were never any weapons of mass destruction.

This reform is not perfect, but as we go along, we can make adjustments. Money would be available for their plan if it hadn’t been used to support two wars.

Remember, fellow Americans, their money is meant to keep us in good heath and not to be and to ship our young people to die in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sixto Granados, Barstow
