Donnelly's gun and the Dream Act
Regarding Assemblyman Tim Donnelly and the gun he had in his suitcase: Anyone who believes he didn’t know he had a gun in that suitcase has to be nuts. He didn’t have a permit. This man probably thought because he was in a position of power that he was above the law. He should be voted out of office.
Thank you, Homeland Security.
Mr. Donnelly also misrepresented the Dream Act.
The Dream Act offers young people brought here to the U.S., through no fault of their own, a chance to become legal citizens. Children should not be held responsible for the illegal acts of their parents.
Cal Grants are not given to anyone unless they have the top grades needed to get them, ‘egal or not legal.
Putting these young people on the path to citizenship will benefit our country.
