Hinkley resident Michelle Sibole and her kids brought goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits and a golden retriever to the church for the kids in the Vacation Bible School program to feed and play with. A handful even tried their hand at milking Sibole’s goats, Loreal and Maybelline.

“It felt squishy,” said 9-year-old Peyton Teal, who succeeded in getting milk into the bucket.

First Baptist Church’s VBS theme this summer is Saddle Ridge Ranch said pastor Eddie Pate. On Thursday the kids took turns riding Miranda Wessel-Allmon’s pony.

“This is fun,” Pate said. “A lot of these kids have never been on a horse.”
