The City Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m.
BARSTOW - The City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The meeting will include three public hearings: one on sewer fee increases; one on the disposition of city property to Desert Ram Development LLC; and one on transit projects.
The meeting will also include staff reports on the casino and the new hospital, and the Council will discuss the Community Development Director position.
I-15 projects
Work on the Interstate 15 will cause some delays between Barstow and this week.
o One of two lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today through Thursday on the northbound I-15 from Main Street to Rasor Road for fog seal and guardrail work. The southbound I-15 will also be affected Tuesday through Thursday.
o Fog seal and miscellaneous work will mean intermittent closures on the following on and off ramps this week: Basin Road, Afton Road, Field Road, Harvard Road, Minneola Road, Ghost Town Road, Calico Road, Old Highway 58, Fort Irwin Road, Yermo Road, Main Street and the rest area.
