The circus is in town...
Arthur Mendoza (left) positions the tent poles while Robert Osorio (right) hoists up the main sign, in preparation for Tuesday night’s opening show of American Crown Circus, on the corner of West Main Street and Avenue H. The circus, which features trapeze artists, tightrope walkers and motorcyclists racing in an enclosed sphere — the “Globe of Death” — costs $15 per adult ticket, which also admits two children under 12 for free. Shows run through Thursday, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. both nights.
