Police search for armed robbery duo

Men allegedly broke into home, stole resident's car

BARSTOW • Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a Barstow man at gunpoint in his home and stole his car.

The victim told police two men entered his home on the 600 block of Rimrock Road early Tuesday morning and held him up with a handgun, Barstow Police Sgt. Andy Espinoza Sr. said. The men allegedly stole possessions from the home before driving away with the victim’s black ’97 Nissan.

The victim didn’t immediately report the incident because he feared retaliation from the suspects, Espinoza said.

A description of the suspects was not available Wednesday.
