Barstow gains blacksmith

Brent Gaddis, vice president of the Mojave River Valley Museum, fastens a hinge to the new blacksmith shop at the museum at 270 East Virginia Way on Tuesday afternoon. The blacksmith shop will be dedicated at the museum’s 44th annual barbecue and open house at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
