Lighting the way

Vietnam veteran Van Guritz passes a torch to Pat Baker during a torch lighting ceremony Monday evening at the VFW Post 2143 in Lenwood. The ceremony was part of Operation Carry the Flame. The participants are riding to Washington, DC for a candlelight vigil at the Vietnam Memorial on Memorial Day weekend.
