The event has been hosted by the Art and Industrial Women’s and Men’s Club for the past 16 years to honor the work Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. has done for equality.
“It’s remembrance for our younger people so they know what came before them and the work that was put in to get to where we are,” Hailey said of the importance of the event.
