Rallying for farmers
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Protesters Amber Juare, 15, (left) Jessie Juare, Sherri Juare, Bruce Klein and JoAnn Betty (right) rallied with other members of the Patriot Forum at Dana Park, Saturday, supporting water rights for farmers in the San Joaquin Valley. Members of the Tea Party Patriots took a break in Barstow on their way from Jacksonville, Fla. to Fresno. Along the way they collected canned goods, clothing and toiletries to take to farmers who have had their water allocation from the Sacramento River Delta reduced. According to Kevin Jackson, author of The ‘Big Black Lie,’ who spoke at the rally, the protesters’ goal is to get the farmers’ water turned back on.
