Suspects named in home invasion robbery
BARSTOW • Police are searching for a man and woman who allegedly robbed a Barstow man at gunpoint and stole his car.
Ryan Blas, 28, and his girlfriend, Amber Day, 18, both of Barstow, are believed to have broken into the victim’s home on the 600 block of Rimrock Road and held him up with the handgun at around 1 a.m. Aug. 14. The pair allegedly stole the victim’s keys and wallet and fled in his car, police said.
The victim reported the crime later in the afternoon, delaying because he feared the suspects, he said.
Blas is described as a Pacific Islander, standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds, according to a Barstow police report. Day is described as Caucasian, standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds.

Court records show Blas was previously convicted for vehicle theft and has a slew of theft and drug convictions in San Bernardino County.
