Aztec genius

The low brass section of the Barstow High School Aztec marching band glides across the field during rehearsal on Thursday. The year's show, "The Genius of Ray Charles," features four songs by the legendary pianist. The band performs at half-time of home varsity football games and is gearing up for the High Desert Field Show, featuring bands from across the area at Barstow High School on Oct. 11.
