Dancers rehearse their Polynesian number at Barstow Academy of Dance on Thursday in preparation for their annual recital.

About 50 dancers from the academy, ranging from children to adults, will perform styles ranging from Latin to hip-hop at a free show Friday at 6 p.m. in the Barstow High School Garver Memorial Auditorium, said dance studio owner Marvin Ellis.
