A three-man Barstow Fire Protection District crew unload their engine after returning to Barstow Friday from a strike team assignment fighting wildfires in Mendicino County. Engineer Bobby Clemmer (on top of fire engine) and firefighter/paramedic Victor Robledo spent two weeks fighting the fires, while Capt. Nick DiNapoli spent about a month on the strike team, with a rotation of two crews from Barstow.
