The Board of Supervisors approved the contract for Beverly Lowry during a board meeting Tuesday. The estimated annual amount of the contract is $36,138 in salary and $737 in benefits.

“Beverly Lowry has been a strong advocate for the communities in the High Desert for many years. I believe she is well-equipped to serve Barstow and Lucerne Valley as the Community Liaison,” Ramos said in a press release.

“We look forward to the work we have ahead of us and are happy to have Beverly working with us to serve the Third District,” he said.

Beverly is a longtime resident of Barstow and has served as a Field Representative at both the county and state level. She has also served on the Barstow Heights Community Services District and currently serves as a director with the Mojave Water Agency.
