City wants input for beautifying Barstow

BARSTOW • The City of Barstow is hosting a series of three meetings open to the public to discuss how to improve the look and feel of the community.
The first of the three “Barstow Beautiful” meetings will take place at the City Hall Council Chambers, 220 East Mountain View Street, on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This meeting will discuss “How do we see Barstow now?”
The second meeting will be hosted at the Barstow Junior High Auditorium, 1000 Armory Road, on Feb. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This meeting will discuss “What do we want for the future of Barstow?”
The last meeting will be at Cora Harper Community Center, 841 Barstow Road, on March 24 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This meeting will focus on a “Presentation of Design Alternatives.”
In addition to the three meetings, a survey has been made to collect input and information from the community on how to make Barstow beautiful. Those interested in taking the survey are asked complete the questionnaire on the city’s website, www.barstowca.org. Hard copies of the survey are also available at City Hall.
