BARSTOW — The 2017-18 school year is quickly approaching with classes beginning Thursday, and schools throughout the Barstow Unified School District will be welcoming families with Back to School nights throughout the months of August and September.

“Parents will be able to meet with teachers, principals, and school personnel,” BUSD Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Scott Godfrey said about the traditional events. “They will also have a chance to ask questions about our programs and connect with the school in a meaningful way.”

Each school in BUSD holds its own Back to School Night event.

“Be sure to look for notices that will be coming out in the paper, on BUSD website and personalized phone calls to your home or cell phones with important information about Back to School nights,” said Godfrey.
