A 29-year-old Barstow man is behind bars on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in a bathroom at the Golden Corral in Hesperia, authorities said.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Hesperia Station deputies responded to the Golden Corral in the 12800 block of Main Street on Saturday at approximately 5:17 p.m. after receiving a report of a man inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl while she was inside the women's restroom at the restaurant.

The suspect, who had left the location by the time authorities arrived, was described as a Hispanic male approximately 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a gray shirt and black jeans. An extensive search of the area was performed but no one matching that description was located, authorities said.

Through investigation, it was learned that the victim, who was at the restaurant with her family, had gotten up to use the restroom when the suspect, later identified as Seguin Munoz-Feliciano, followed her in. According to authorities, once inside the restroom Munoz-Feliciano stopped the victim from leaving and then touched her inappropriately.

Munoz-Feliciano then rushed out of the restroom and fled the restaurant, authorities said.

After further investigation, Munoz-Feliciano was contacted at his residence in Barstow and was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center, but posted $250,000 bail and was released from custody Wednesday.
