BARSTOW — A 58-year-old man was arrested after authorities seized roughly 2 pounds methamphetamine, heroin and a large amount of cash while serving a search warrant at a residence Wednesday.

Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Barstow Station and K-9 unit served the search warrant at a home in the 1100 block of Borrego Drive after receiving information of possible drug activity, according to authorities.

During the search, the drugs and cash were found and Barstow resident Kurt Herman was located at the home and arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin and methamphetamine for sale.

Herman was booked and is being held in lieu of $300,000 bail.
