BARSTOW — Incumbent Fred Baca officially captured the third and final open seat on the Barstow Community College Board of Trustees.

The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters certified the Nov. 8 election results on Tuesday. Baca held an 11-vote lead on Nov. 9, but officially finished with a 27-vote edge over fourth-place finisher Patricia Rosenberg.

Paul Wilkey was officially the top finisher with 24 percent of the vote. Incumbent Ted Baca finished second with 19 percent of the vote. Fred Baca had almost 18 percent of the vote.

Incumbent Julie Clemmer officially captured the most votes in the Barstow Unified School District Board of Trustees race with 27 percent. Kris Okamuro was second with almost 27 percent and incumbent Barbara Rose finished third for the final seat with 19 percent.

Measure F, the school bond measure, officially was approved with 67 percent of the voters checking yes.
