YERMO • Crews worked to douse the flames of a mobile home fire where a woman’s body was found a short time later.

At approximately 9:20 a.m., firefighters responded to a call at the Oasis Palms mobile home park in the 37100 block of Calico Boulevard, according to a news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner Department.

Crews from Cal Fire and Yermo Fire Department responded to the call and extinguished the blaze, according to the coroner’s report.

An unidentified woman was removed from the mobile home and was pronounced dead at the scene, the coroner’s report states.

No other injuries were immediately reported at the mobile park on Sunday.

San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner spokeswoman Sandy Fatland and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jodi Miller said further details were not immediately available as the Arson Bomb Division continued its investigation of the fire.

The woman’s name will be released when identification is completed, the coroner’s release states.
