Monthly blood drive to be held Tuesday

BARSTOW — The Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside counties will hold a community blood drive from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Barstow Community Hospital.

The drive will be held in the lower level conference room and bloodmobile. Each participant will receive a coupon from Del Taco for two crisp tacos and a small drink as well as points which can be exchanged for items at the “Gift of Life” Blood Bank online store.

Blood donors must be at least 16-years-old, free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis.
The hospital is at 555 South Seventh Avenue.
