A case of theoretical genocide

First, I want readers to know I am straight and I support the right of gays in the United States to marry in a civil ceremony or in a church, if that church allows for gay marriages.

The reason I support these rights is because I worked and lived beside gays for many years when I resided in Studio City. The gays I knew were wonderful people, they were kind and caring to everyone, straight or gay. Two of my closes friends were Marvin and Eddy. They had lived together as a couple for over 40 years. They were faithful to each other, the same as any straight couple would have been. They weren’t the nut jobs you see on television from San Francisco. Gays are individuals; they are not all the same.

I would like to put forth this dilemma to the gay community. Many gays and scientists believe that a person is born gay, that it is a trait controlled by ones genes at birth. Let’s say for a moment that this is true and being gay is a genetic trait. Let us also suppose that some time in the not-so-distant future some scientists identifies this “gay gene.” Now please be honest and ask yourself this question, how many expectant mothers knowing that their child is going to be born gay would opt for an abortion? At that point in time, I would say that gays as a group would be in danger of having genocide thrust upon them.

In our society today the law is “abortion on demand for any reason.” This issue of “for any reason” was highlighted in a prime time television show, “Boston Legal.” It was refreshing to see Hollywood producers breaking from the far left and telling the truth about “abortion on demand” in the United States.

On this show a teenage girl of 16 demanded an abortion because her baby was going to be a girl and she wanted a boy. The young girl’s mother refused to allow her to have an abortion for this reason, so the teenager went to court. The judge, in this case (a women) stated, “I have no choice in the matter, as the Supreme Court has ruled it is a woman’s right to have an abortion for (any reason).” The judge also stated that in her opinion, the reason for having this abortion was shameful and opprobrious.

We are at the threshold of identifying the human genome and genetic engineering, shall we allow abortions because a person will be left handed, because a person will be under five feet tall, because a person will have brown eyes, because the person will have dark skin? The list could go on and on.

In the end we will end up with the super race the Nazis were trying to create.
