Did you know that when you pay your electric bill you are paying for transmission charges, distribution charges and electricity used. I am OK with that. But, when they add nuclear decommissioning, conservation incentive, public purpose program, new system generation and competition transition charges I begin to wonder why we have to pay for them. We should only pay for what we use, not the money the electric company wants to recoup from other projects. We didn’t create them, they did.
If you call Southern California Edison to ask questions about the charges they will direct you to another customer service rep where you are on hold for at least 25 minutes and you will probably hang up because of that tactic.
We need answers, those extra charges are A rip off. I don’t know how they can justify those extra charges. Make the phone call, let’s find out what this is all about!
