Tuesday
• Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 700 block of East Main Street at 11:46 p.m.
• Someone reported a disturbance on the 600 block of East Virginia Way at 10:29 p.m.
• Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 600 block of Chateau Way at 9:40 p.m.
• A 65-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and attempted burglary on the 700 block of East Main Street at 7:14 p.m.
• Someone reported petty theft on South First Avenue and Williams Street at 4:11 p.m.
• Police responded to a report of a residential burglary on the 700 block of Agnes Drive at 12:18 p.m.
• Someone reported fraud on the 900 block of Armory Road at 9:50 a.m.
• Police arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear in court on the 200 block of West Williams Street at 9:11 a.m.
The Barstow sheriff’s station logs were not available.
Fort Irwin logs
July 4 to July 10
• Underage Drinking: A juvenile was detained for consuming alcohol at Sandy Basin Complex.
• Assault: There was an assault between two soldiers at Outer Limits. Subject was detained.
• Assault: There was an assault during a domestic altercation in Tiefort View housing area. Subject was detained.
• Sexual Assault: There was a report of a sexual assault between a husband and wife in Tiefort View housing area. Subject was detained.
• Assault: There was an assault between two soldiers in Dove Gulch housing area. Subjects were detained.
Police logs from Fort Irwin are complied by the Fort Irwin Department of Emergency Services and the staff of the High Desert Warrior on a weekly basis.
