Thursday
• Police responded to a report of a drunk driver on the 600 block of Montara Road at 4:49 a.m.
• A 22-year-old man was arrested on the 200 block of East Mountain View Street at 4:01 a.m.
• Police responded to a report of battery on South Second Avenue and Buena Vista Street at 2:52 a.m.
Wednesday
• Someone reported a disturbance on the 500 block of West Fredricks Street at 10:35 p.m.
• Police responded to a report of child abuse on the 1100 block of Barstow Road at 9:26 p.m.
• Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 1300 block of East Main Street at 4:05 p.m.
• Someone reported a disturbance on the 800 block of East Mountain View Street at 3:39 p.m
• Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 1500 block of Nancy Street at 2:48 p.m.
• A disturbance was reported on the 200 block of East Williams Street at 1:18 p.m.
• Police arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended license and failure to appear in court at the Marine Corps Logistics Base at 11:15 a.m.
• A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, trespassing on railroad property and failure to appear in court on the 1500 block of Paloma Street at 10:33 a.m.

Thursday
• Deputies responded to a report of attempted burglary on the 48000 block of Memorial Drive in Newberry Springs at 1:38 a.m. The owner of a Texaco gas station reported finding two men on the roof of the station with a ladder. One of the men attempted to push the ladder off the roof when the store owner started climbing it. The man then came down the ladder and a fight ensued, after which the suspects fled the scene. The store owner identified one of the suspected burglars as a man who bought a six-pack of Smirnoff malt beverages from the store earlier. A Smirnoff bottle was found on the roof.
• Deputies responded to a report of possession of stolen property on Lake View Road and State Highway 58 in Hinkley at 12:56 a.m.
Wednesday
• Someone reported a person drunk in public on West Main Street and L Street at 10:10 p.m.
• A stolen vehicle was recovered on the 33000 block of Second Street in Daggett at 7:33 p.m. It was discovered by the Daggett Volunteer Fire Department when responding to a report of a fire.
 • Deputies responded to a report of domestic battery on the 43000 block of Valley Center Road at 2:41 p.m.
• Someone reported a child was assaulted by another child at Fort Irwin Middle School at 9:46 a.m.
• Deputies responded to a report of theft on Newberry Road and National Trails Highway at 8:53 a.m. An unknown person vandalized a generator, took copper wire and a battery.
