Police logs


Tuesday
• Police responded to a report of a narcotics violation on the 600 block of West Buena Vista Street at 9:59 p.m.
• A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of parole violation on the 200 block of West Main Street at 6:11 p.m.
• Someone reported a disturbance on the 2300 block of East Main Street at 2:01 p.m.
• Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 400 block of South First Avenue at 1:09 p.m.
• Someone reported battery on the 1900 block of Yosemite Court at 8:50 a.m.

Tuesday
• Deputies responded to a report of identity theft on the 42000 block of Valley Center Road in Newberry Springs at 7:24 p.m. The reporting party said someone used a closed account number to obtain funds totaling more than $2,170.
• Deputies responded to a report of someone drunk in public on West Main Street and Western Drive in Lenwood at 7:06 p.m.
• Someone reported assault with a weapon on Old State Highway 58 at 7:03 p.m. The reporting party said someone threw a rock through his windshield and then tried to start a fight.
• Someone reported that a man tried to get her daughter to get in his truck when she was walking home from the bus stop on Jasper Road and Citrine Road in Lenwood at 5:18 p.m. A passerby intervened.
• Deputies responded to a report of assault in Daggett at 5:08 p.m. Someone reported being punched in the face during a party at an unknown location in Daggett on Saturday night.

Fort Irwin logs


May 2 to May 8
• Damage to Private Property: A Pepsi vending machine was damaged outside an installation building.
• Underage Drinking: Three juveniles around Landmark Inn were cited for underage drinking.
• Larceny: A report was made of medication being stolen from Cactus Cove housing area.
• Damage to Private Property: A report was made of a damaged vehicle mirror in the commissary parking lot.
• Larceny: A report was made of medication being stolen from a unit area.

Police logs from Fort Irwin are complied by the Fort Irwin Department of Emergency Services and the staff of the High Desert Warrior on a weekly basis.

The reports listed in our daily action briefing come directly from the activity logs of the Barstow Police Department and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department station in Barstow.
