Police logs

Thursday
• Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 1200 block of Mirage Drive at 2:07 a.m.
Wednesday
• Someone reported a disturbance on the 700 block of Dolph Court at 10:29 p.m.
• Police arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of storing a loaded firearm accessible to children on North Muriel Drive and Main Street at 3:52 p.m.
• Police responded to a report of harassment on the 500 block of West Fredricks Street at 2:01 p.m.
• Someone reported a domestic disturbance on the 700 block of Melissa Court at 1:01 p.m.
• Police arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of forgery, receiving stolen property, identity theft and failure to appear in court on East Williams Street and Second Avenue at 3:13 p.m.
• A 20-year-old man was arrested on the 27000 block of Cochise at 10:54 a.m.

Sheriff’s logs

Thursday
• Someone reported grand theft on U.S. Highway 395 and State Highway 58 in Kramer Junction at 12:30 a.m. The reporting party said that someone stole a purse belonging to his wife out of their vehicle, with about $500 in cash, credit cards and jewelry in it. The suspect’s vehicle was a small red pickup truck with two dirt bikes in the bed.

Wednesday
• Deputies responded to a report of a burglary on the 27000 block of Windy Pass at 11:05 p.m. Someone entered a house through the sliding glass door and reportedly took jewelry and other items.
• Someone reported a lost or stolen license plate on the 35000 block of Osborne Road in Lenwood at 5:30 p.m.
• Deputies responded to a report of domestic battery on the 34000 block of Birch Road in Lenwood at 10:54 a.m.

Fort Irwin logs

April 25 to May 1
• Trespassing: A Juvenile was caught on the roof of a house in Cactus Cove housing area.  Subject was detained.
• Assault: An assault occurred during a domestic altercation in Calico Estates housing area.  Subject was detained.
• Larceny: An individual was arrested for stealing money while working at a business establishment. 
• Larceny: An individual was cited for stealing food while working at a business establishment.
• Larceny: A report was made of stolen license plate from a vehicle parked in Mojave Desert housing area.
• Larceny: A report was made of stolen military gear and DVD player from the barracks.
• Larceny: A report was made of stolen ice chests from a contractor on the installation.
• Attempted Arson: A couple of boys were caught lighting toilet paper on fire in a school bathroom.  Subjects have been detained.

Police logs from Fort Irwin are complied by the Fort Irwin Department of Emergency Services and the staff of the High Desert Warrior on a weekly basis.
