• A 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance on the corner of Rimrock Road and Avenue J at 1:26 a.m.
Wednesday
• Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of driving without proof of insurance, exceeding the maximum speed limit, failure to pay a fine and failure to appear in court on the corner of East Main Street and Victor Street at 11:03 p.m.
• A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violating parole on the corner of Aurora Way and Montara Road at 10:48 p.m.
• Someone reported a disturbance on the 500 block of South Seventh Avenue at 10:32 p.m.
• Police responded to a reported battery on the 900 block of Carson Street at 9:47 p.m.
• A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving alcohol on the 1700 block of Sunrise Road at 9:39 p.m.
• Police arrested a 22-year-old woman on suspicion of theft failure to appear in court on the corner of East Fredricks Street and South Seventh Avenue at 7:27 p.m.
• A 36-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public on the 100 block of Silver Lane at 6:38 p.m.
• A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance on the 200 block of Lillian Drive at 4:59 p.m.
• Police arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of brandishing a deadly weapon that’s not a firearm and being drunk in public and on the 2000 block of Yellowstone Drive at 1:00 p.m.
• Someone reported a physical disturbance on the 100 block of East Grandview Drive at 12:31 p.m.
• Police responded to a reported battery on the 900 block of Barstow Road at 12:18 p.m.
• A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs on the corner of Mountain View and Adele Drive at 11:39 a.m.
• Police arrested Fred Oneal Miles, 22, on suspicion of battery of a spouse and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm at the Barstow courthouse at 11:05 a.m.
• Tyrone Smith, 29, was arrested on suspicion of violating sex offender registration requirements for felony conviction or juvenile sentence or with a prior registration offense conviction on the corner of West Williams Street and West Fredricks Street at 9:33 a.m.
