Police logs

Wednesday
• Police responded to a report of someone brandishing a weapon on the 500 block of Pioneer Street at 4:55 p.m.

Tuesday
• A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and burglary after officers conducted a probation search on the 1600 block of Sunset Street at 7:05 p.m.
• Police conducted a probation search on the 1200 block of Center Street at 7:04 p.m.
• Someone reported trespassing on the 600 block of Virginia Way at 2:50 p.m.
• Someone reported a person drunk in public on Monterey Avenue and Armory Road at 1:22 p.m.

The Barstow sheriff’s station logs were not available Wednesday.


Fort Irwin logs

Oct. 3 to Oct. 9
• Assault: An assault took place during a domestic altercation in Dove Gulch housing area. Subject was detained.
• Runaway: Two juveniles ran away. They were then returned to their parents.
• Larceny: Three civilians were cited for stealing from a retail business.
• Assault: An assault was reported that happened at a party in the past. Subject was identified and an investigation is ongoing.
• Damage to government property: A report was made of a vending machine and fire extinguisher being damaged in a government building.
• Assault: A rotation soldier reported they were assaulted by another rotation soldier in the field. Investigation is ongoing.
Police logs from Fort Irwin are complied by the Fort Irwin Department of Emergency Services and the staff of the High Desert Warrior on a weekly basis.

The reports listed in our daily action briefing come directly from the activity logs of the Barstow Police Department and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department station in Barstow.
