Dinner at the Moose Lodge

Christmas craft and bake sale
Barstow Community Hospital Auxiliary will be holding a Christmas craft an bake sale Friday starting at 8:30 a.m., at 555 S. Seventh St. City of Barstow afghans will also be available. All proceeds will be used for scholarships to those interested in the medical field.

Charity sale
Seventh-day Adventist Church, corner Broadway and Center, will be holding a one day only sale Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clothing, housewares, Christmas items, craft supplies, and canning jars. For information, call 760-252-7127

Barstow Senior Center membership meeting

Christmas Alive at First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church presents the 25th Christmas Alive on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are now available at the church, 1320 Barstow Road for $5 for adults and $1 for children up to 18 years of age. For information, contact the church office at 760-252-2949.

‘Harvey House Holiday’
The Third Annual Harvey House Holiday, with a tree lighting and holiday activities will be held on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. And if you are interested in becoming a vendor, you may log on to www.barstowchamber.com and fill out the vendor form.

Free Family Movie Night
Everyone is invited to "Free Family Movie Night" on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Forerunner Christian Fellowship, 400 Avenue "H" (across from Foster Freeze). Showing will be "One Night With the King." Come join for movie, munchies and lots of fun. For information contact Brenda at 760-255-3927.

Karaoke
American Legion Post 751 of Newberry Springs, 30196 Newberry Road, will hold regular Karaoke, plus a women’s finals in the ongoing competition, on Saturday at 7 p.m. Come on out and exhibit your vocal talents, or just hang out and enjoy some good food. Commercial auditions
Holywood Productions will be hosting auditions on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Forerunner Christian Fellowship , 400 S. H St. Men and women of all ages are needed to star in Christian films and commercials. No experience is necessary. Please bring a close-up picture of yourself. Breakfast at Hinkley Senior Citizens Center
The Hinkley Senior Citizens will have their Saturday ‘Prepared to Your Order’ breakfast on Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Hinkley Senior Center, 35997 Mt. View Road in Hinkley. For $4.50 per breakfast, you get a choice of pancakes or French Toast, bacon or sausages, eggs, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, and milk. Coffee is available. Open to the Public. Newberry Springs Senior Center, 33383 Newberry Road, Newberry Springs, will hold bingo the first and second Saturday of each month. Doors open at 5 p.m. with play starting at 6 p.m. Hot dogs will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. The more in attendance, the bigger the jackpots.

Barstow Mall craft fair and mini swap meet
Barstow Mall is holding a craft fair and swap meet every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Space is free for non-profit organizations and all others are $5 for one spot or $10 for two spots.
