Clothes find new homes at Saturday's exchange

Shyanne and Shelby Pierson hold onto the clothes they picked out at the Barstow Clothing Exchange at the Greater Hope Foundation office Saturday morning. Daneille Klein-Buenrostro, one of the clothing exchange organizers, said about 40 families came to the exchange Saturday and about 50 families had contributed somehow to the exchange. All the clothes were donated and families could take clothing from the exchange for free. The next exchange will be Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Greater Hope Foundation office and will include Halloween costumes.
