Sheriff's Dept. aids in attempted murder arrest
BARSTOW • Barstow Sheriff’s deputies aided in the Wednesday arrest of an Oxnard man accused of attempted murder of his wife.
The man, Abdalla Younan Abdalla, 32, was arrested in Victorville at 2:45 p.m. by Oxnard Police after being detained in Newberry Springs and transferred to Victorville by San Bernardino
County Sheriff’s deputies, according to department spokeswoman Jodi Miller.
Abdalla is accused of stabbing his 28-year-old wife multiple times earlier that morning, Miller said. Because of his Egyptian decent, deputies searched for him at the St. Antony Coptic Orthodox Monastery, where they found and detained him. FROM STAFF REPORTS
