BARSTOW • A man pleaded not guilty Thursday to four separate charges in connection with the alleged kidnapping of his girlfriend.
Vincent Dominguez, 31, is charged with kidnapping, making a criminal threat, false imprisonment and inflicting bodily injury upon a spouse or cohabitant, court records show.
The Barstow District Attorney's Office filed the charges Thursday, according to court records.
Dominguez was arrested Tuesday by Barstow Police after his girlfriend phoned authorities from inside a vehicle and claimed he was holding her against her will, police said.
She claimed Dominguez threatened to kill her, according to police.
An officer made contact with the woman by text message and she provided an address where police and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department responded.
Police spoke to the woman at the address in the 34000 block of Birch Road in Lenwood and arrested Dominguez, who was inside a white pickup truck on the property, police said.
Dominguez is next due in Barstow Superior Court on Wednesday for a pre-preliminary hearing, court records show.
