Barstow resident Mario Barron holds up his 5-year-old daughter, Abbiegail, so that she can sign a banner accompanying the 65-foot-long U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree that stopped at the Tanger Outlet Mall on Monday. Hundreds of area residents young and old signed the banner and listened to the Barstow Junior High School band perform during Monday's event.

Barstow is the tree's last stop in California as it heads east to Washington D.C.
