VICTOR VALLEY 9 (73), BARSTOW 9 (71): At Barstow, the Jackrabbits pulled out a nailbiter in games against the rival Aztecs in a Desert Sky League match.

Miko Potes swept for Victor Valley (2-4 MRL). Coach Lisa Crosby said the difference in the match was the play of the Jackrabbits' No. 3 singles player Ruben Camacho as well as the No 3 doubles team of Julio Castro and Ramon Moreno.

Camacho won 6-4 against Barstow's No. 3 singles player, while Castro and Moreno also beat Barstow's No. 3 doubles team and took a couple games off Barstow's No. 2 doubles team of James Martinez and Nick Robasse, who swept.

The Azecs' No. 1 doubles team of Chris Hanhan and Alfredo Barcenas also didn't drop a set for the Aztecs.
