SILVER VALLEY 15, LONE PINE 2: At Yermo, The Trojans stayed perfect in Desert Mountain League play with their third double-digit victory in league play.

Silver Valley is now 4-0 in the DML and 9-2 overall. The Trojans took a lead early against the Eagles and built it throughout the game despite playing all 15 players on the team. Trojans' coach Kevin Mintun said Lone Pine was able to get the bat on the ball, but his starters and substitutes were able to make plays to shut them down in the field.

"It was a total team effort," Mintun said. "Everyone got a chance to play, and they all played up to Lone Pine's level."

Trojans' pitcher Deanna Armstrong had seven strikeouts in the game to earn a win. Bianka Griego had the biggest hit of the day with a three RBI triple.

Silver Valley will now prepare to face the remaining undefeated teams in the DML. The Trojans travel to face Boron at 3 p.m. on Tuesday and will host Vasquez at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
