GRANDVIEW A Grandview couple is searching for their teenage daughter, who went missing late Sunday evening.

Sixteen-year-old Ashley Ross, a sophomore at Barstow High School, was last seen at her home at 25633 Agate Road at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, according to her stepmother, Stephanie Andrade.

"She was last seen on Sunday night when she was telling me good night," said Andrade, who is married to Ross's mother, JoAnna Andrade. "We are pretty sure that she ran away, but we don't know what time. None of her friends have seen her."

Andrade has also received reports that Ross was seen Tuesday with a man in his 20s and another teenage girl in a faded blue Toyota or Nissan car near Starlight Donuts on East Main Street and First Avenue, she said. Ross's father currently lives in Idaho, but phone calls to him haven't uncovered clues as to the teenager's whereabouts.

Andrade filed a missing persons report with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department about four days ago, but deputies haven't been able to locate Ross, according to a department spokesperson. People with information are asked to call the sheriff's department at 760-256-4838.
