Barstow resident Nancy Wagner braves a wind storm Wednesday while putting away her shopping cart at Stater Bros.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning Wednesday. Following the fast-moving storm that swept through Southern California, the San Bernardino County High Desert could see winds between 35 and 45 mph with gusts reaching 65 mph. The warning will remain in effect until 4 a.m. Thursday.
Despite her hair being blown every which way, Wagner said she likes the wind.
"It can be anywhere from a really cool breeze on a summer day," she said. "Or it can blow your house over."
