On Social Security

Isn't it amazing how our well-paid work force in Washington, D.C., can send billions of American taxpayer dollars overseas, but now for the second year in a row can't afford to give their senior citizens a small raise in their Social Security?

Isn't it amazing how our well-paid Washington politicians can afford to give themselves a very substantial pay raise with American taxpayer dollars, but say there hasn't been enough inflation to provide our taxpaying seniors with a small increase in their meager Social Security benefit although seniors have paid into it for many, many years?

Isn't it amazing how they can find the money to bail out large banks and automobile companies, but can't find any for American seniors?

What a shame America. I plan to vote the bums out on Nov. 2. I hope you will too.
