HINKLEY Sheriff's deputies arrested a parolee in Hinkley suspected of running a meth lab.

Patrick Frazier, 39, was arrested from his home on the 23000 block of State Highway 58 Sunday afternoon on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance and parole violation.

Barstow sheriff's station Sgt. Eric Mello said someone had reported a trespasser on Frazier's property. After responding to the call, they conducted a parole search of the home and found a box of chemicals and other items used to manufacture meth.

"It wasn't a whole lot, but it was big enough to call Hazmat," Mello said, referring to the San Bernardino County Fire Department Hazardous Materials Division.

Detectives from the Sheriff's Department Narcotics Division also responded.
