HINKLEY - Deputies and detectives from the Barstow sheriff's station arrested two more suspects in connection to a string of recent burglaries in Hinkley.

Shawn Brown, 33, was arrested for suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm after Det. Gary Hart found a shotgun while serving a search warrant at a motorhome belonging to Brown near the intersection of Alcudia and Summerset roads, a San Bernardino County sheriff's report stated. Brown was later found and arrested Monday evening at a property on the 3600 block of Lakeview Road. Investigators found two stolen BMX bikes at the location.

Also, a 17-year-old juvenile, a known runaway from Riverside, was arrested in connection to the arrests of Brian and Cynthia Hayes on Monday afternoon, the report stated. The juvenile, who has been transported to the Apple Valley Juvenile Hall, was found with the couple when the sheriff's station served a search warrant at a residence on the 3700 block of Hinkley Road.

As a result of the arrests, the station has recovered more than $10,000 in stolen property, identified three different victims of theft and cleared five burglaries in the area.
