SILVERADO 45, BARSTOW 27: At Victorville, Masood Noori (171 pounds) won a 4-2 decision over Steven Locke in overtime, and 215-pounder James Lynn pinned Jonathan McPheron in 23 seconds as the Hawks (13-5, 2-0 DSL) took control of the league.
Ray Rubio (119), Nico Galsim (130), Cesar Corona (140), Aaron Riggs (152) and Mike Joromat (189) also had pins for Silverado.
Barstow was undefeated in the DSL coming in, so the win now puts the Hawks in the driver's seat.
"I feel good (about the win)," Silverado coach Mike LaBrosse said. "But we can't overlook Burroughs; they beat us early in the season. And Granite Hills is always tough."
